NH deserves a state that works for all of us. But Republican leadership in Concord are working to gut funding for public schools, give tax breaks to billionaires and greedy corporations, and restrict women’s access to health care and abortion. They’ve stood idly by while ICE’s massive federal overreach terrorizes our communities, the cost of living has skyrocketed and NH families are being squeezed more than ever before.
We Deserve Leaders Who Will Make Life Affordable for Us and Stand Up to Billionaires & Big Corporations
Despite soaring costs, this year New Hampshire Republicans chose to prioritize a tax cut for ultra-wealthy corporations like Amazon at the expense of the rest of us.
This corporate giveaway will raise costs for Granite State families, driving up property taxes and the cost of living in NH. This cut will blow a $26 million dollar hole in the state budget, which means New Hampshire communities will have to make up the funding gap with property tax increases to cover critical services, including road repairs, housing, public safety, funding our already struggling public schools, and more.
Meanwhile, NH Democrats are fighting to actually make life more affordable for families and working people,with real investments in child care, affordable housing, and plans to lower costs that will make New Hampshire a better place to live and raise a family for all of us.
We Deserve Leaders Who Will Strengthen Our Schools
Every student in New Hampshire should have the opportunity to succeed, but Republicans are underfunding our public schools and pursuing a dangerous open enrollment plan that will make this problem worse. NH Republicans even killed legislation that would require transparency in public funding for private school vouchers. By helping create a system that allows millionaires to receive taxpayer dollars to pay for private tuition at wealthy and religious schools, NH Republicans defunded public schools and drove up property taxes throughout NH.
Luckily, NH Democrats are fighting to fully fund our schools, strengthen public education, and protect the right of every student in New Hampshire to receive the highest quality education possible, regardless of zip code.
We Deserve Leaders Who Will Protect Abortion Rights
After the overturning Roe v. Wade, which eliminated Americans’ constitutional right to abortion, established over 50 years ago, NH Republicans have actively fought to restrict access to abortion and women’s access to health care and have repeatedly attempted to institute more restrictive abortion bans.
New Hampshire is the only state in New England that does not legally protect access to abortions. Governor Sununu signed one of the most restrictive abortion bans in New Hampshire history in 2021, a ban that includes no exceptions for rape or incest and punishes doctors with up to 7 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines.
NH Democrats believe everyone should have access to family planning resources and the healthcare they need, including abortion care.
We Deserve Leaders Who Will Stand Up to Trump’s Overreach
Thanks to Trump’s tariffs, costs continue to skyrocket, pushing small businesses and families even further behind.
NH Republicans failed to address the issue of increased ICE presence. Even Governor Ayotte herself has recently come under fire for lying about her knowledge of plans for the ICE facility in Merrimack.
As ICE threatens constitutional freedoms nationwide, Granite Staters deserve a concrete plan for how we’ll be protected. As people across the country see their health care costs skyrocket as a result of Trump and Republicans in Congress delivering $1 trillion in tax breaks for billionaires, and as the financial consequences of Trump’s tariffs continue to grow, the people of New Hampshire deserve a concrete plan to reduce costs, and put their money back in their own pockets.

Granite Staters deserve affordable child care, stable housing, quality schools, and access to health care. Our local small businesses need strong investments in the basics that support our workforce.
While NH Republicans are focussing on passing restrictive abortion bans, building unwanted ICE detention centers, restricting voting rights, and giving tax breaks to millionaires, NH Democrats are fighting to bring down costs, improve public education, protect Granite Stater’s right to access health care, and are standing up to Trump and his buddies in D.C.
